Hi,

First of all, I'd like to thank for the website, great idea, well done.

The mapping feature is a very useful idea, however I think it could be improved
so it's possible to display areas not only on Google Maps but different Web-based map
like VirtualEarth, as well as some public geodata and imagery.

It could be easily implemented by replacing current GMaps client with OpenLayers
(http://openlayers.org/)

What do you think?

Hi Mateusz, thanks for your suggestions; the mapping feature is definitely something we will be doing more work on soon and we will take a look at this. Are you involved in an Openlayers project yourself?

No, I'm not involved in OpenLayers directly. OL is a Web-mapping software but I'm a developer working on low-level tools and libraries which are (indirectly) used by OL community (i.e. GDAL/OGR, GEOS/PostGIS, etc.).
