We are pleased to announce that the winner of the August draw  is Al Evans who has contributed no fewer than 68 topos and 187 route descriptions to date.

Krakow is still cheapets, but you can fly now directly to Poprad in Slovakia


In Slovakia you can use Euros from January!

Thanks Wikitopo for the prize, First thing I ever won :-).


I have always fancied a trip to the Tatras, a Senior Scout group I was ML'ing went a few years back and had a brilliant time, I didn't know you could use, or couldn't use euros there?

BTW, in the days before cheap flights you could get a bus from Sheffield to Zakopane for £99 return once a week!

Just checked on National Express, its £117 return from London. Thats for a two week trip but I think its the same however long you go for. Only problem is its ~28 hours.

buses still go there from all over UK, long journeys, but the price is always the same. You can buy an open ticket or book for as long as you like.


I use easy jet noe to fly to Krakow, but Katowice are also good, not far from Slovakia.
