Sectors

To make it easier to organize topos and to give more flexibility when deciding how to arrange locations, and areas, sectors have been introduced as an optional extra level into the Topo Library.

Now extensive climbing locations such as Avon Gorge or The Roaches can be split up into sectors.

To create a sector you need to go to the relevant crag (location) page.
From here a sector can be created either by creating a new topo and setting the sector field or by editing the settings for an existing topo (click on the "?" mark to edit the settings for a topo).

If any sectors have already been created, these will be shown in a drop down along menu with an "Other" option for creating a new sector.

We will also be introducing a way of ordering both topos and sectors soon as part of the forthcoming advanced PDF Generator.

Sketch Maps

At the moment, you can create a sketch map for each climbing location - we are working on extending this to sectors and on being able to select a portion of a location sketch map to use as the starting point for a sector sketch map (which would be shown as an inset on the original map).

Whilst on the subject, any ideas on improving the sketch map tools would be welcome.

Advanced PDF generator? Sounds interesting.
